The Malden Democratic City Committee holds monthly meetings. We also hold special events and subcommittee meetings at other times and places.

Monthly Meetings

At our regular meetings, generally held monthly, we:

  • Exchange information about local events and campaigns
  • Learn about issues that affect Malden, the region, and the nation
  • Hear from invited speakers
  • Plan our events and programs
  • Exchange ideas on organizing and mobilizing more effectively

Annual Caucus

Special Annual Events (Postponed until 2021)

St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast and Awards Ceremony Typically held on a Saturday morning in March. At this popular and lively annual event, guests enjoy a full buffet breakfast, live music, and performances. The breakfast offers an exceptional opportunity to hear from elected officials and candidates who are Democrats. The Committee also presents annual awards honoring local Democrats who have made outstanding contributions during the past year. Malden Democrats Summer Barbecue Typically held in August at Anthony’s of Malden, 105 Canal Street, Malden, MA. Enjoy food, entertainment, and conversation with fellow Malden Democrats and friends in a relaxed and informal cookout atmosphere. This popular event provides a unique way for you and your family to meet and hear from officials, candidates, and Democratic activists in Malden and vicinity and learn more about how you can get involved. Malden Democrats Official Caucus Like all cities and towns in Massachusetts, Malden Democrats hold an annual Caucus to elect delegates to the Massachusetts Democratic Party Convention.
