Who We Are
The Malden Democratic City Committee is Malden’s Democratic Party organization. We’re a diverse group of Malden Democrats who work together as volunteers to:
- Elect Democrats to local, state, and national offices
- Promote policies that advance our party’s goals
- Grow the Democratic Party in Malden
- Inform and engage Malden voters
Whether you’re a longtime Malden Democrat, a new resident, an un-enrolled voter interested in becoming a Democrat—or you’re not quite old enough to vote—we offer opportunities to learn, get involved, and make a difference.
What is the Committee?
Voting members and officers of the Malden Democratic City Committee are formally elected via the Democratic Primary ballot in presidential election years. But you need not be an elected committee member to participate in our activities. Registered Democrats or not, registered voter or not, you can attend our events, learn about candidates and issues, volunteer your time, and drive positive change.
The formal Malden Democratic City Committee comprises eight committees representing each of Malden’s eight wards. Committee members must be Democrats registered in Malden. To learn more about how you can become a committee member, contact one of the MDCC officers or your Ward Chair.
